How can I remove dust and pet hairs from my laptop?

Do not start taking your laptop to pieces it'll only end in tears. Use a new (unused) foundation brush on the keyboard not the vacuum, you don't want to spend hours going through a vacuum bag looking for keys that have been slurped off by the Hoover. The keyboard is quite easy to remove but if you aren't sure of what you are doing then don't do that either. And keep Spot away from the laptop (unless he insists on using Google or Tesco's Home delivery service for crates of Pedigree Chum). As for taking a competent workshop engineer an hour to take 1hr to disemble, clean and reemble a laptop, only if he takes three cigarette breaks and a fourth for a cup of coffee. I know, I was a laptop engineer at one time with a major manufacturer and you should be able to do 3 maybe four in that time with the right tools. Don't use air you could disturb more undesirable crud than dog hair into places where it shouldn't be.
