How should I wear my hair to an 8th grade farewell dance?!?

so i am getting my hair done for my farewell dance and I was wondering how I should do it? I have med. brown hair with Layers! It looks a lot nicer curled but like I wasn't something a little fancier then just curls. Any ideas? Pictures would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
