Is it any of my business?

My neighbor is always throwing her son's toys away. I'd like to rescue them but she uses the garbage compactor and crushes them in the kitchen garbage so her kid won't rescue them. Once, she actually used her cowboy boot to crush a perfectly good little spaceship toy! (She said her garbage compactor was broken.) Should I try to save the toys or is it none of my business?
