What knowledge do I need to know about coffee to work at Starbucks?

I have very little knowledge about coffee or most beverages they make at starbucks. I have only had 4 different drinks from starbucks in my entire life: cappuccino, iced Chi, regular coffee, and hot mocha. even so, i only know they taste good and not what they are made of. id like to be a barista though as even though I am shy I know how to project a positive and friendly attitude and this i figured would be the job to apply for. if i go into this job with no knowledge of how to make a simple cup of coffee will I be totally screwed?
