What might the army do if the extraterrestrials would have come to Earth?

Yes it would indeed change our world as we know it. It would be the greatest discovery since man discovered fire. I honestly can't say how our military would act but I would hope they wouldn't open fire. Seeing as how the aliens are on our planet.. they must have far greater technologies than we could ever hope to have in a thousand years. I would ume we would try to communicate but if we found out they meant us harm than I have no doubt we would respond. Regardless of our technology compared to theirs its in our nature to fight to live. I do not feel mankind is ready for a extraterrestrial visit. Perhaps that's why nothing has come. We as a specious are to greedy, needy, angry, and we have too much conflict and wars even with ourselves. If anything would arrive I have no doubt that we would try to manipulate and interrogate these outer beings for their technologies and weaponry. Perhaps their is something out their but they know coming to earth would be pointless because we are like i said a greedy and hostile specious. Them coming to us to try to communicate with us would be a big waste of time on their part. Seeming as how their technology would be already greater than ours we could offer them nothing but our ability to be hostile.
